The Project Coordinator provides project management support to the Growth & Development department and is responsible for the receipt, processing, administration and maintenance of the documentation and data relating to the G&D team. This includes but is not limited to; supporting all project staff, keep the department organized, running point on key facets of the day to day project management of the growth and development initiatives of the organization, and serving as a conduit between senior staff and Avamere’s internal and external customers.

Responsibilities/Qualifications/Skillset

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

 

  • Oversees the daily updating and overall accuracy of all facets of department’s SharePoint website.
  • Runs point on the collection of, analysis, and distribution of diligence as a part of any development or acquisition.
  • Assists in the integration of new assets being onboarded to the Avamere Family of Companies.
  • Participates in all development and construction meetings.
  • Maintains project calendars and gantt charts via MS Project and MS SharePoint.
  • Prepares and/or edits meeting minutes, presentations and tables.
  • Ensures adherence to deadlines
  • Synthesizing and translating complex findings into curated, relevant, and useful deliverables
  • Participates in arranging for and coordinating financial draws on active construction projects.  Assists in reconciliation and processing of invoices for active developments and recors, as needed.
  • Supports the VP – Construction Management and Director – Construction Management in coordination and execution of all recor projects which includes interfacing with and holding trades and subcontractors accountable
  • Responsible for the quality control of reporting, presentations and analysis produced by team members
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly business updates, including presentation materials for the executives, the Board, and external stakeholders
  • Takes the lead in writing presentations and creating standard operating procedure for the Growth & Development department.
  • Critically reviews Avamere’s processes and procedures to achieve consistency, effectiveness and efficiency throughout the organization.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the company

Education

  • BS/BA in real estate or a business-related field. 
  • Additional education towards enhancing MS Excel or MS Project skills is a plus.

Experience

 

 

  • Minimum of (3) years of experience in project management is a must
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project
  • Ability to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences in writing and verbally. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong customer service orientation. 
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently as a member of a team. 
  • Highly organized with the ability to efficiently and accurately multi-task
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to take initiative. 
  • Applicant must be extremely organized and able to multi-task between deliverables assigned to them encompassing >10 concurrent projects.

Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, etc.):

 

  • Additional hours as necessary to accomplish objectives, goals and projects
  • The potential for up 5% travel may be required
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
